A 26-year PR agency veteran, Dan founded Orsborn Partners in 2009. The firm handled the Discover Financial
Services (Discover Card) U.S. agency search and consulted with Milwaukee Tool Company, among others.
Agency Search: At SelectResources International (2002-2009), Dan built the country’s
most active PR agency search practice working with: Walmart, Nike, Gap, Old Navy, Darden Restaurants, New Balance, Outback
Steak House, California Milk Advisory Board and Intel on one of the largest global searches in history. He also taught clients
agency management best practices and visited more than 100 PR firms in the U.S.
Agency Background: Most recently, he served as Burson Marsteller’s MD of
business and client development driving best practices and process. During his tenure, the firm was named the Holmes
Report "Large Agency of the Year" (2011). Previously, he led Porter Novelli Los Angeles and Edelman San
Francisco affiliate The Orsborn Group.
Dan has been
a frequent contributor to PRWeek Magazine where he writes about new business best practices. He is a recipient
of PRSA's "Silver Anvil," served as national chair of the their Professional Services Section, was a board
member of PRSA-Los Angeles and has presented 75 speeches and webinars to professional groups and associations.
